The Killers - Spaceman

Finally! This is the moment many of you have been waiting for.
The Killers premiered two brand-new songs at a fan-only showcase that they performed at the Highline Ballroom in New York City this week. The first new track they played was "Spaceman" and the second is titled "Neon Tiger," which invokes images of Las Vegas garish and glitz.
Check out a fan video of "Spaceman," which is the result of one of the first studio collaborations between the Las Vegas quartet and Stuart Price. This video is not a high-quality recording, but you can get a pretty good feel of the track and the group's new musical direction. It definitely sounds like a track that is positioned right on the intersection of "Hot Fuss" and "Sam's Town," combining Brandon's new wavy synths and Mark Stoermer melodic bass groove with Dave Keuning's anthemic rock riffing. "Spaceman" is very promising tastemaker for new Killers material. I can't wait to hear more.
Thoughts anyone?
